Each g contains:

• Clotrimazole I.P. 1.00% w/w
• Beclomethasone Dipropionate I.P. 0.025% w/w
• Benzyl Alcohol I.P. 1.00% w/w (Preservative)
• Methylparaben I.P. 0.15% w/w (Preservative)
• Propylparaben I.P. 0.05% w/w (Preservative)
• Cream Base q.s.

Clotrimazole is an azole antifungal agent. It inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol, a key component of fungal cell membranes. By blocking the synthesis of ergosterol, clotrimazole disrupts the integrity and permeability of the fungal cell membrane. This interference with membrane function leads to the leakage of essential cellular components, ultimately causing the death of the fungal cells. Clotrimazole is effective against a variety of fungi, including those responsible for skin infections like ringworm and candidiasis. Beclomethasone dipropionate is a corticosteroid that exerts its effects through anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive, and vasoconstrictive mechanisms. Benzyl alcohol, Propylparaben and Methylparaben are used as preservatives.

Canstat B cream is used against fungal infection with inflammation (ringworm, yeast infection) and inflammatory skin infection (eczema, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis). This dual-action approach is particularly useful when skin conditions involve both fungal infection and inflammatory responses.

Itching, Dryness, Burning sensation, Redness at the site of application.

Patients with a history of hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to any of the components in the combination should avoid its use.

Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth or any broken skin or open wounds or cuts. Meant for external use only. Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals should consult with their healthcare provider before using the formulation to ensure the safety of its components during these periods.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Do not freeze.
