Doxotorq M Tablet

Doxotorq M tablet combines Doxofylline (a bronchodilator) and Montelukast (a leukotriene receptor antagonist) to help manage asthma, COPD, and allergic airway conditions. It works by relaxing airway muscles and reducing inflammation, making breathing easier and controlling allergy symptoms.

Composition

Each uncoated bilayered tablet contains:

Doxofylline IP (as sustained release form) 400 mg
Montelukast Sodium IP Equivalent to Montelukast 10 mg
Excipients q.s.

Indications

Indicated for the management of respiratory conditions associated with airway inflammation and bronchoconstriction, including Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, chronic bronchitis, and prevention of exercise-induced bronchoconstriction.

Storage

Store in a dry place at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light. Keep out of reach of children.

Precautions

Do not use for the treatment of acute asthma attacks or acute exacerbations. A rescue inhaler should be readily available. Use with caution in patients with impaired liver function. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding only under medical supervision when clearly needed. Caution is advised when used with other bronchodilators due to the risk of excessive stimulation of the heart and nervous system.
