Each ml contains:
- Clotrimazole I.P. 1% w/v
- Lignocaine I.P. 2% w/v
- In Glycerin I.P. and Propylene Glycol I.P. base q.s.
Mechanism of Action
Clotrimazole acts against the division and growth of fungi by altering the permeability of the fungal cell wall and inhibiting the activity of enzymes within the cell. Lignocaine alters signal conduction in neurons by blocking the fast voltage-gated sodium (Na+) channels in the neuronal cell membrane that are responsible for signal propagation.
Indications
This medication treats allergic and inflammatory ear conditions.
Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to any components of this product.
Side Effects
Clotrimazole is unlikely to cause any serious side effects. It can occasionally cause some irritation when it is used at first, and a few people experience mild allergic-type reactions (such as redness and itching).

Directions
Use the solution within one month after opening the container. Do not use it if the solution contains particles/suspended matter.
