L-Cetramac Tablets Alu/Alu

Levocetirizine is a third-generation non-sedative antihistamine, developed from the second-generation antihistamine cetirizine. Chemically, Levocetirizine is the active enantiomer of Cetirizine. It is the R-enantiomer of the cetirizine racemate.

Composition

Each film-coated tablet contains:

Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride I.P. 5 mg

Indications

Seasonal/allergic rhinitis, chronic urticaria, allergic conjunctivitis, atopic dermatitis, pruritis, adjunct in asthma management.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct heat and light.

Precautions

Use with caution in patients with renal impairment; dose adjustment may be required. May cause drowsiness in some patients; avoid activities requiring mental alertness until individual response is known. Not recommended for children below 6 months of age.
