Roximac-150 Tablets

Roxithromycin is a semi-synthetic broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic. It is only effective against bacterial infections and not against viral or fungal infections.

Roxithromycin prevents bacteria from growing by interfering with their protein synthesis. It binds to the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, inhibiting the translocation of peptides.

Upper and lower respiratory tract infections, uncomplicated skin and soft tissue infections, middle-ear infections.

Hypersensitivity to roxithromycin or any other macrolide antibiotic (e.g. azithromycin, clarithromycin, erythromycin) or any of the ingredients.

Headache, dizziness, diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal pain, and vomiting.

As directed by the physician.

Store in a cool, dry and dark place.
