Each g contains:

• Terbinafine Hydrochloride I.P. 1.0% w/w
• Mometasone Furoate I.P. 0.1% w/w
• Cream Base q.s.

Terbinafine inhibits the enzyme squalene epoxidase, a key enzyme in fungal ergosterol synthesis. This disruption of ergosterol production compromises the integrity of fungal cell membranes, leading to fungal cell death and effective treatment of fungal infections, particularly dermatophytes. Mometasone, a corticosteroid, exerts anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the production of inflammatory mediators and suppressing the immune response. It reduces redness, swelling, and itching associated with inflammatory skin conditions, providing relief from symptoms.

Terbofin-OC cream is often prescribed for dermatophyte infections, such as tinea corporis (ringworm), tinea cruris (jock itch), and tinea pedis (athlete's foot). It also provides relief from pain, redness, itching, and burning sensations and speeds up the healing process.

Burning, Irritation, Itching, Redness and Skin atrophy.

Patients with a history of hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to any of the components should not use the cream.

Prolonged use of corticosteroids, such as Mometasone, can lead to skin atrophy, telangiectasia, and other adverse effects. Use the combination cream for the shortest duration necessary to control symptoms. High-potency corticosteroids should be used with caution on sensitive areas of the skin, such as the face or genital areas. Consult with a healthcare professional before using the cream during pregnancy or breastfeeding to assess potential risks and benefits. Prolonged or inappropriate use of antifungals, including terbinafine, can potentially lead to the development of fungal resistance. The cream is for external use only. Do not ingest, and keep it out of reach of children.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protected from light. Do not freeze.
