Moxigard eye drops is a potent antibiotic solution, inhibiting bacterial DNA replication to treat a variety of ocular infections effectively.
Composition
Each ml contains:
- Moxifloxacin HCl eq. to Moxifloxacin I.P. 0.5% w/v
- Aqueous vehicle q.s.
Mechanism of Action
Moxifloxacin act by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, disrupting DNA replication and synthesis in bacteria, leading to a bactericidal effect and effectively treating a range of bacterial eye infections.
Indications
Moxigard eye drops is indicated for the treatment of bacterial eye infections, including conjunctivitis, keratitis, and other ocular conditions caused by susceptible bacteria.
Contraindications
Individuals with known allergies to moxifloxacin or any other ingredients in the eye drops should avoid using the product.

Eye irritation, Eye discomfort, Blurred vision.
Warning
If irritation persists or increases, discontinue the use and consult the physician. Do not touch the dropper tip on any surface since this may contaminate the solution.

As directed by the physician.
Directions
Use the solution within one month after opening the container. Do not use it if the solution contains particles/suspended matter.
Storage
Store in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.
